Goodreads Challenge 2018
I set myself the challenge of reading 50 books for the year but surprised myself by reading 72! There’s a mix of non-fiction and fiction and everything from chick-lit to fantasy, crime and dystopian stories.

Everyone has a story to tell!
Deb is a young-at-heart & active 60+ blogger/retiree, after being made redundant from her 22-year career managing education programs in a men’s correctional centre (jail). She now spends her time reading, blogging, riding her ebike and travelling. Deb was awarded a Bravery Award from the Queen when she was 17 after a tragic accident – a definite life changing moment! She is married with 3 grown-up daughters & has 4 grandchildren. You can read more of Deb’s story here

Well that was an interesting and varied collection! I’ve never bothered noting down the books I churn through during a year – I read a lot from the library (local and online) and from the free books online site, I’m the last of the big spenders when it comes to books – many read and $0 spent!

Thanks Leanne, it’s always interesting to take a look back at what I’ve read during the year, if only just to see the diverse range! I usually get my books on my kindle, as freebies or as gifts. I tried listening to a few books through Audible but although I kind of enjoyed it, I would rather actually read the book myself. Enjoy the new year 🙂
