Reblog: Not a good week! – Deb’s World
I can't let today, 10 May 2017, go by without mentioning that one year ago today we were told our jobs as educators in the State's Correctional Centres were to be axed by the end of 2016. It started a dreadful time of worry, concern, upset, ill health and general malaise. We were all summonsed to …

Remind me again why am I doing this?
Remind me again why I'm doing this? Running I mean! I haven't written a post about just running since July last year but I have been running, on and off, in the meantime. The months after July were wet, miserable and cold. I was also suffering from looking down the barrel of redundancy but …

2016 – the year that was!
Tumba-bloody-Rumba was the winner as the most viewed post on my blog in 2016. Did you see it? In looking back at my blog stats for 2016 I have been very surprised about what featured in my top 10 based on views. Vanish, invisible mending – a poem I found
While cycling in New Zealand recently I found this poem in a delightful little book about the local area. Reading through it, I found it really hit a chord with me. The book was one of many available for visitors to flick though in one of the guest houses (Tiger Hill Lodge) we stayed in, …
