Deb is a young-at-heart & active 60+ blogger/retiree, after being made redundant from her 22-year career managing education programs in a men’s correctional centre (jail). She now spends her time reading, blogging, riding her ebike and travelling. Deb was awarded a Bravery Award from the Queen when she was 17 after a tragic accident – a definite life changing moment! She is married with 3 grown-up daughters & has 4 grandchildren. You can read more of Deb’s story here

Thanks for noticing the family banner on my site (I have a few images that revolve around), it was a gift from my daughters for my recent 60th birthday. It’s brilliant and I just love it!

Hi Deb – I love sunlight reflecting off the water (especially when I remember to have my sunglasses on!) Those images are so quintessentially Australian aren’t they? I’ve pinned one to remind me how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful country.

Thanks Leanne, the sparkling water was beautiful! I love the palm trees and yes they are quintessentially Australian images, and so very different to my usual view!
