Do you know the power of a pink octopus? I didn't know how important a crocheted octopus could be to a premature baby until just recently.
As I flew across the world to meet my newest and tiniest baby granddaughter, I wrote this story for her. She was born at 25 weeks and was called Wombat before she became Dottie. Enjoy!
Taking on new challenges, like driving in city traffic, is just one of my newly acquired skills. Learning about life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has been a real education.
