An Echidna love train on Wordless Wednesday

Wordless Wednesday

August 21, 2019

It’s harder than you think to go Wordless, and I try to let the photos do the talking most Wednesdays in my Wordless Wednesday posts.

This week, I hope you enjoy a collection of Echidnas in a love train, as spotted in our backyard yesterday. Echidnas are such interesting creatures and have some amazing traits.

Let me know what you think by leaving me a comment below 🙂

Feel free to join in by posting a photo using the hashtag #WordlessWednesday – it’s quite a fun and easy post each week!

Have a great day 🙂

    1. Yes they are very prickly customers Jonno and have a way of protecting themselves when faced with danger, by rolling up into a ball. The love trains are a very clever way of mating!

  1. I searched high and low for years before I saw an echidna in the wild, and you found three together. Lucky you. I’m not sure if cute is the right word for a bunch of prickles, but they are, ‘cute’.

  2. I have never seen one of these at all and at first, I thought it was a sea creature with spikes. It just goes to show you how where you come from really reflects in how you see the world.
