The Mathematician takes on Escher – Wordless Wednesday

I just want to say what a wonderful, thoughtful, caring wife I am and I give the best gifts!

The box was enough for me!

The Mathematician enjoyed the many challenges of this jigsaw 🙂 He has been a huge fan of Escher for years and I wrote about my visit to the Escher exhibition here – Between Two Worlds back in January 2019 in Melbourne.

Are you a fan?

Happy Wednesday to you, hope you are staying safe and well 🙂

  1. Wow! That looks very challenging. I’m not sure I’d be up for it. Good for him…and of course I agree, you are a wonderful, thoughtful, caring wife who gives great gifts. 🙂

  2. Good grief! I thought you loved the man!! How could you inflict something like that on him??? I am beyond impressed that he actually got it done – I’d have opened the lid, taken a look, and shut it again! Good job on keeping him occupied though 🙂

    1. It’s a strange kind of love I know, but he really did enjoy it in the end and was glad not to have given up along the way. He does enjoy a challenge!!

    1. Yes Escher was very big back then and I enjoyed seeing the exhibition where I bought this puzzle. He’s an amazing talent! Yes my husband is getting there and he is lucky with his choice of wife 🙂 thanks for recognising that!!
