Shadow bikes – Weekly Photo Challenge

I admit to loving shadow shots. I have a great number in my albums!

Shadow – This week, hunt for shadows and incorporate them into your shot. The shadow can be the focal point of the image, or simply a detail that adds texture and makes the scene a bit more dynamic.

This is a favourite pic I took from a moving car (I wasn’t driving!) and I love the contrast of the bike shadow with the roadside, the bright blue sky and all with a sense of blurry movement.

I also love taking selfies while riding my bike:

I seem to have (unintentionally) used a bike theme with this post so I’ll share the quote we live by in our house:

Life is like riding a bicycle,

To keep your balance you must keep moving.

Life is indeed like riding a bicycle
