This is the world according to me…in photos, words, stories and sometimes even poetry. It’s a fun creative outlet, and as a bonus I get to meet some amazing bloggers from around the world.
My aim is to make you smile, educate you in some way, maybe inspire you and to share my world, while learning about your world.
I love an adventure and I always seem to find one – or it finds me! It keeps me feeling young :)
I’m living life to the fullest and embracing the challenges that come with midlife! I’m now a grandmother x 4, and I am as happy as a pig in mud.
Please take your time exploring my world – it’s full of stories, travels, adventures, photos and love.
I appreciate your visit, your likes and any comments or feedback you care to leave me. Feel free to share the love 😊

Your photography not only shows your immense creativity, it also reveals the soul of what you were trying to capture – and delightfully displays your joie de vivre (which is completely contagious). Thank you for joining in (and running with it) and for the shoutouts!

Hi Deb, you must be so proud of the achievement in getting the Rail Trail open, despite the current situation. I’m finding that daily walks by the ocean are so helpful in coping with isolation and I’m sure a good bike ride would really lift your spirits. Take care and thanks for sharing at #MLSTL. xx

Hi Sue, yes it’s been a real lift having it open and seeing so many locals, some with young children, out riding and walking on it! We’ve done it in lots of different stages over the past week and always enjoy being out in the beautiful autumn sunshine, and getting exercise at the same time. Thanks for sharing!

It’s fabulous Natalie and we’re so happy to have it open despite these uncertain times. It’s been such a great asset for many in town to get out for some safe exercise.

Thanks Janis, it’s been so good having it open at this time. Only locals can use it at the moment but hopefully when travel restrictions are lifted it will bring lots of visitors to our town, which is still recovering from the bushfires earlier this year!

It’s a fabulous trail on the old railway line and we’ve preserved a lot of the history as well, instead of it rotting away unseen. Thanks for your visit 🙂

It sure is a great feeling Donna. As we ride along I can’t help smiling all the way! And making choo choo choo (train noises) as I go 🙂

What a lovely place to have nearby. It really lifts your spirits to be able to get out in the fresh air in the countryside and it’s the easiest way to do ‘social distancing’!

Hi Deb, The open spaces are always beautiful and extra special right now. My husband and I were talking about taking our bikes out. You have inspired me with your post. We used to go on a trail near our house called Galloping Goose. It may be closed. We live near farm areas (and many huge hills lol). Your post is a breath of fresh air. Take care and stay well. xx
