We’re so lucky to have this rail trail available for us to ride.

And yes I know there are some words in this post!!

Stay safe and well 🙂

  1. Hi Deb, you must be so proud of the achievement in getting the Rail Trail open, despite the current situation. I’m finding that daily walks by the ocean are so helpful in coping with isolation and I’m sure a good bike ride would really lift your spirits. Take care and thanks for sharing at #MLSTL. xx

    1. Hi Sue, yes it’s been a real lift having it open and seeing so many locals, some with young children, out riding and walking on it! We’ve done it in lots of different stages over the past week and always enjoy being out in the beautiful autumn sunshine, and getting exercise at the same time. Thanks for sharing!

    1. It’s fabulous Natalie and we’re so happy to have it open despite these uncertain times. It’s been such a great asset for many in town to get out for some safe exercise.

    1. Thanks Janis, it’s been so good having it open at this time. Only locals can use it at the moment but hopefully when travel restrictions are lifted it will bring lots of visitors to our town, which is still recovering from the bushfires earlier this year!

  2. Hi Deb – it looks great and must be a lovely addition to your exercise and outdoor activities. I laughed at your social distance arrow!
Thanks for linking up with us at MLSTL and I’ve shared on my SM 😊

  3. What a lovely place to have nearby. It really lifts your spirits to be able to get out in the fresh air in the countryside and it’s the easiest way to do ‘social distancing’!

  4. Hi Deb, The open spaces are always beautiful and extra special right now. My husband and I were talking about taking our bikes out. You have inspired me with your post. We used to go on a trail near our house called Galloping Goose. It may be closed. We live near farm areas (and many huge hills lol). Your post is a breath of fresh air. Take care and stay well. xx
