OK – are you ready for this?
Miriam at Out an’ About nominated me to join the 3 quotes, 3 day challenge, I thank her for thinking of me. I enjoyed her posts and her selection of quotes especially her Day 3 post.
I decided, while out at a Christmas party last night, that as it is the season for silliness I would use jokes from Christmas bonbons instead of actual quotes. In case you don’t know what I’m talking about with the silly season and bonbons (apparently some countries don’t have these traditions) you can read my post from this time last year – It‘s not called the silly season for nothing.
Here’s my first entry:
Q. What do snowmen eat for lunch?
A. Icebergers!
Pretty bad??? They may not get any better I’m afraid!
The photo I have used is of one of my red boxes of Georg Jensen Christmas decorations. We are fortunate to have collected some of these over the years courtesy of our family friends in Denmark. I love their way with decorations and whenever we visit we always try to buy a new one to add to our collection. One of our best ever trips was visiting Denmark, Sweden and Finland in the weeks before Christmas and then spending Christmas in the ski slopes of Italy with our daughters – it was amazing for us to experience all the differences such as cold, snow and darkness as we are so used to a hot, summery Christmas season. We loved it!
So strap yourselves in people, we are in for a rough ride over the next few days if that first joke is anything to go by!!
Deb 🙂
My son thought your joke was cute!
