Welcome to this week’s wrap-up post
The theme for Week 34: At Night
At night – After last week’s dismal effort with feeling out of sorts and unable to come up with a photo until the last minute, this week was easy peasy!!
I wandered out into the back yard and snapped this photo which looks to me like the lights are the umbilical cord giving life to the glass house.
Or am I being too fanciful? What do you think?
The bright lights of life – umbilical cord?
Photos from the group
The photos from the group were all very different this week, which again shows the personalities of everyone within the group. Feel free to follow the link above to check them out for yourself. Maybe leave a comment if one of the photos particularly takes your fancy. Commenting/sharing is caring and we always appreciate your thoughts 🙂
Daniel’s photo was a brilliant moon in a cloudless sky over the ocean.
Grant’s photo captured the morning after the night before recharging our batteries at night.
Melanie’s photo was a great shot of a heavy snow fall during the night
Sharon undertook another experiment, with a sparkler, on a beach, at night – a great result!
Tim’s photo was a gorgeous shot over the ocean with stars swirling and slowly falling – an amazing shot!
You can read more about the story behind the project here: 52 week photography project – but basically I have joined with 5 photographers, of varying experience, to take a photo every week for a year, one theme at a time. That’s 52 weeks of photos!
Them big city lights, but me, I prefer them slow country nights.
With each photo we also submit some accompanying words, which can be just as interesting as the photo itself some weeks! From now on we are to also write about the subject, the setup, the story behind it – should be interesting!
How did you like our interpretations this week? Let me know in a comment below, I always appreciate hearing from you.
We’re getting through the 52 weeks at a cracking pace – where is the time going?
Next week’s theme is: A Chair
Enjoy your week ahead

I totally agree with your ‘umbilical cord theory’. Cool photo!
