An odd foot

Our ‘Word a Week’ family photo challenge has been continuing and recently the word was ‘detail’.
As I was sitting in the sun my foot was imprinted with the shadow of the chair and it looked like I’d had a henna tattoo or I was wearing a pair of odd looking shoes. The detail captured my imagination especially after I edited out the background.
It struck me as ‘odd’ so I am sharing for Becky’s February challenge with the theme of odd.
I agree wholeheartedly with Leonardo’s quote
The human foot is a masterpiece of engineering and a work of art.

Square Odds
Becky has her Squares challenge going again for the month of February, where we can share any photo as long as it’s square, on the theme of ODD.
Odd can be interpreted lots of ways and like beauty it can be in the eye of the beholder. What you may find odd I may think is completely normal!
You can see Becky’s Day 3 post here – The Square Odds.
Have a great weekend and keep an eye out for some odd squares.

Not really feeling too creative but sometimes I do surprise myself! I can be a bit odd at times so this post gave me an opportunity to share my foot photo π

Hi Deb – that is a truly unique photo – I like how you edited out the background. It does look like a henna tattoo! What would we do without our feet?

I remember seeing this photo – on Instagram? I thought it was so pretty, almost sensual!! If the shadow was a sandal it would be such a cute pair. Perfect with a strappy sundress. Lovely capture.

Yes Leslie it was on Instagram a week or so ago. I’m so pleased I could use it for #SquareOdds It would certainly make a nice pair of sandals! Thanks for your visit π

Well done, Debbie! You’re so creative to notice the shadow patterns on your foot and make an interesting photo to meet Becky’s challenge. The background sunny colour exudes energy. Thank you for linking up with #weekendcoffeeshare.

And if that shadow is back-lit by the sun, just think of the cool tan that foot would acquire. . . .
Fun post Deb. Hope this finds you well and loving life

Looks like one half of a rather odd pair of tights or socks, Debbie. Great capture.
