Different angles

I often take the same photo from different angles just to see how the perspective changes the shot. I did this recently with these flower photos which I will use for this week’s photo challenge.

I featured this bulb in my Every Day is an adventure project on Day 79/365.  I was visiting my parents-in-law and the weather was very spring-like as we meandered around the garden, while catching up on news.  This bulb caught my attention and my mother-in-law told me that it had been coming up for years and she didn’t know what it was called but always enjoyed its colourful arrival. (If you know what it’s called, then please leave me a comment, we’d both appreciate it).

In some comments on my post, it was likened to an Olympic torch or a flame of some sort, whereas I said it reminded me of an ice cream cone. What do you think?

I love the vibrant colours and the photo from directly above looks like something else, but I don’t quite know what!

For this week’s challenge, photograph a person, or a piece of fruit, or a toy — any stationary object — and experiment by photographing it from different angles. While there is no minimum…I challenge you to choose three of your favorite shots and post them in a gallery on your blog.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Deb 🙂
