My question to you is how could anyone not like orange?
So to wake up on this beautiful Saturday morning to see that the prompt for this week’s photo challenge is orange, has made my day!
What’s not to love about orange? It’s vibrant. It’s cheerful. It makes a statement. It’s the perfect punctuation for a punchy photo. This week, share a group of photos where orange is either the dominant colour, or provides a bold highlight.

Here is a gallery of some of my favourite orange photos – I have orange in the sky at sunrise and at sunset, in my shoes, in my swarm of ladybirds, my suitcase, an alleyway, in the hills and landscape around me, and even a random floating orange door to nowhere – enjoy the overdose of all things orange!
Just for fun I did a search on my blog for the word orange and came up with quite a few posts that I’d forgotten all about. It really surprised me that I’d mentioned orange so many times – no that’s a lie, I wasn’t surprised at all!

Aren’t they amazing?? I used them in a post in response to the prompt of swarm and discovered that a group of ladybirds is called a ‘loveliness’. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks! It was very hard to know which ones to use. I had so many to choose from. I personally like the shoe one best but I could be biased!!

Great photos! We call them ladybugs here; I think they are the same but seem more red. I did not know their swarm was called a loveliness! I like all the photos, but I’m partial to your sassy shoes!

According to my google research they’re called a loveliness so don’t quote me on that! I’m glad you like my orange shoes, you obviously have good taste!
