A fairy door?

Fairy door

I like to think there are fairies at the bottom of the garden.  This tree, in the main street of a small country town, with these two mini doors set in the base of the trunk, tell me there are other believers out there too! (I assume they are fairy doors but maybe they are for something else? Any ideas?)

I loved finding these doors,  to me they are pure whimsy and I’m so glad I’m able to share it with you.

Here’s my contribution for Thursday Doors, for all door lovers around the world!

  1. Definitely fairy doors. I’m trying to work out if this is in response to one person’s post. I followed one back through the tag search to Norm 2.0 ? Is his blog the original ?

  2. When I was small, I was always looking for goblins in the wood. If I had seen these little doors back then, I surely would have thought they lived there.
