Icelandic Glaciers
Here I am looking back at past travels again, just like I did for last week’s #SundayStills! Do you think I’m missing the thrill of travel???
This time we are back in Iceland, in June 2018. It was a dream come true for us, and we took our 35 year old daughter away with us too! What a memorable holiday.
I love this photo of the glacier – it was like a whole other world to these Aussie travellers.

Sunday Stills has a colour theme this week – glacier blue – and this trip to Iceland was my first thought when thinking about what to choose to feature.
Iceland was amazing! Just a few of my favourite shots 🙂

If you’d like to read about our trip, click on my somewhat tongue in cheek post – 10 reasons why you shouldn’t go to Iceland for more info.
Thanks Terri for another great prompt for #SundayStills – remember Sunday can be any day! You can check out Terri’s post here and others who have commented with links to their glacier blue posts.
Next week’s prompt is fog and clouds.
Go boldly into the wide blue yonder!

Linking up with Becky’s Squares with the theme of up – I’m definitely missing the ability to go up, up and away!

I’ve joined you this week for #sundaystills Deb and isn’t it lovely revisiting our travels. I remember when you went to Iceland and it is still on my bucket list. My choice was Alaska and Canada to find my glacial blue. xx

You’ve inspired me to go one day Debbie, luckily being in the UK I’m just a little bit nearer than Australia! Thanks for sharing,

Thanks Paul, we flew from UK with our daughter and enjoyed it all immensely. It’s a long way to anywhere from Australia 🇦🇺 but we’re used to it now!

If your photos are any indication, I can certainly see why no one in their right mind would want to go to Iceland. HA!! Absolutely breathtaking. What incredible blues.

What stunning views of your look back on your trip to Iceland, Debbie! You captured the glacier blues beautifully. I knew several bloggers would post actual glaciers and icebergs. Hope you are basking in your warm summer temps!
