Six days seven nights – photo rehab cover makeover
Every Thursday a new Photo Rehab Cover Makeover is launched with a wrap up of the previous week’s contributions. It’s a fun challenge from my blogging friends Lucile and Desleyjane, and I’ve missed a few weeks but was determined to do get back on track.
This week, it’s a movie from a 1988 film titled Six Days, Seven Nights, starring Harrison Ford, Anne Heche and David Schwimmer. We are to make a new cover for the movie and it’s always fun to see what others come up with.
My cover uses a photo I took a few weeks ago while visiting my parents and I’ve given it a complete makeover too using the app Pixlr (thanks to Delsey for the information). I went with the beach theme due to the movie blurb and fiddled around with the editing until I was happy with the result. I like the washed out look the photo has now.
A brief summary from IMBD: Robin Monroe, a New York magazine editor, and the gruff pilot Quinn Harris must put aside their mutual dislike if they are to survive after crash landing on a deserted South Seas island.
I featured this photo in my post here, how much different is it now?
In this weekly challenge we are given the name of a book, movie or album every Thursday and shown the original cover. We are then invited to share our take by making a new cover, using either an archive photo or shooting a new one to go with the theme. It’s great to see what all the talented people out there come up with!
Deb 🙂
Hi Deb. I love the blown out highlights in this version. I took a look at the original – what a difference. Very cool. Love the filmstrip border 😉

Thanks! I tried hard to be creative this week so am glad that you like my efforts! I like the border strip too, it adds to the movie theme. Happy to be back 😊
