Weekly photo challenge: A weekend of treats!

Treats and indulgences can take many forms.  We are asked to show what brings us happiness for this week’s photo challenge.

My weekend of treats went something like this…. finishing work on Friday afternoon for 2 whole weeks of holidays 🙂

Drive 5 hours down the highway to the big smoke

 Afternoon tea with my sister after a lovely few hours of shopping in the city….

The lemon meringue tart was delicious and such a rare treat for me

My sister knows all the good shopping spots and where to sit for a rest and a cuppa afterwards

The best treat of all was picking up our eldest daughter from the airport later that same evening.  She has arrived ‘back home’ in Australia (from her home in the UK) for a quick 2 week visit.  It’s her sister’s wedding this weekend and we’re all very excited.  It’s going to be a magical time for all of us.
